At a press conference addressed by the acting National Chairman of the party, Mr Freddy Blay, the NPP accused the government of using state institutions to destabilise the party. Supporters of the party, many of who wore anything red, provided a charged atmosphere at the media briefing as they sang and cheered the acting chairman as he narrated events leading to the ransacking of the party’s headquarters.
